How the host calendar works
The calendar decides which days your property can be booked. Blocking busy dates takes a couple of taps, and requests for them stop arriving — so you never have to cancel a booking and damage your record.
What the calendar does
- marks the days your place is free or taken;
- closes booking for specific dates — repairs, family visits, personal plans;
- adds a discount for low-demand dates.
How to change availability
1. Open the app and switch to host mode.
2. Go to «Calendar».
3. Pick the property — the whole place (apartment, cottage) or a single room if you run a hotel or guest house.
4. Select the dates and tap «Edit».
5. Set the status: «Active» means bookable, «Inactive» means not. The same screen sets availability and a discount for those days.
6. Save — changes apply immediately.
Example
You have no rooms from 10 to 15 August: select those days, make them inactive, and guests will not be able to request that period.
Why it matters
A cancelled booking is the worst outcome for everyone: the guest is left without a place on travel day and the property loses trust. An up-to-date calendar removes that entirely. It matters most in summer on Issyk-Kul, when requests come in waves and dates sell out weeks ahead.
A reminder on timing: you have 6 hours to confirm a request, and the guest then has 2 hours to pay the deposit. With the calendar in order, confirming takes seconds.
