How to list an apartment, house or yurt

You can list your property on Meiman from your phone in 15–20 minutes: fill in the details, add photos and a price, and the listing goes to moderation — usually approved within an hour. Listing is free.

What fits here

An apartment, a house, a cottage, a summer house, a yurt or a single room. If you run a hotel, guest house, resort or recreation area with separate rooms, the process is different — see How to list a hotel, guest house or resort.

What to prepare

• the address and a point on the map;
• at least 5 good photos — this is what guests look at first;
• the amenities: Wi-Fi, kitchen, washing machine, parking, sauna, barbecue;
• check-in and check-out rules and the nightly price;
• details for the cooperation form: full name, TIN and address for individuals, company details for legal entities.

How to publish

1. Sign in. In the app the profile icon is bottom right, on the website top right.

2. Switch to host mode and open «My properties».

3. Tap «+» and choose the property type.

4. Fill in the form: name, region and address, photos, description, amenities, house rules and the date from which you can host.

5. Publish. The listing goes to moderation, which usually takes about an hour.

How bookings arrive

A guest sends a request and it waits for your answer for 6 hours — if you do not confirm, it expires. After confirmation the guest has 2 hours to pay the deposit. Meiman holds that deposit until the guest checks in and passes it to you after arrival; the balance is paid on site. It protects both sides: you do not block dates for an unserious request, and the guest knows the money has not gone to a stranger.

What it costs

Listing and publishing are free. Meiman charges a commission only on completed bookings: the «Standard» plan is 10%, «Business» is 15% — a manager explains the difference when you join.
