Which documents you need to list a property on Meiman

The short answer: a separate paper contract is not needed by everyone. The user agreement on the site is a public offer, and it counts as concluded from the moment you register and start using the service. The only mandatory part is the data your payouts go to.

The agreement is already in force

The user agreement is an official public offer. Acceptance happens through registration, payment or actual use of the service, and from that moment the agreement is considered concluded in writing. Nothing has to be signed separately.

A separate contract is drawn up when the partner side requires one — the accounting department of a hotel or a company, for example. In that case a manager prepares it and nothing extra is needed from you.

What is mandatory: the payout data

Publishing a property includes a «Landlord details» step, and there is no way around it: this is exactly where the money goes.

• An individual or a sole trader — full name, taxpayer number and registration address.
• A company — company name, taxpayer number, the representative full name, registration address and bank details: bank name, BIC and account number.

When documents are asked for after all

The service may at any point ask you to confirm your registration data and provide other documents — an identity document or papers for the property. It is not routine for every listing, but a request has to be answered: refusing it can lead to access being suspended. If your activity runs on a patent, or the property has registration documents, keep them at hand — then the question is closed within a day.

How to change the bank details

Payouts only go to the details in the landlord data. They can be changed through your manager or support — writing a new account number in a chat with a guest is not enough, the money will still go by the old details.
