Meiman commission, plans and host payouts
Listing a property, uploading photos and keeping the calendar on Meiman are free: the platform earns only on bookings that actually happen. Below — what it costs, when the money arrives and what happens when a booking falls through.
Plans
There are two plans: «Standard» with a 10% commission and «Business» with 15%. The cooperation form is chosen on the next-to-last step of publishing a property, where you can also see what the plan includes. Large properties and chains can agree individual terms with a manager when they join.
When the money arrives
The guest pays the deposit as soon as you confirm the booking — they have 2 hours for that. Meiman holds this money until check-in and passes it to the property only after the guest has arrived. The balance the guest pays you on site. The deposit is 10 to 100% of the price and depends on your plan; a manager will tell you the exact range for your property.
This order is not bureaucracy: it answers the main fear a guest has — sending a deposit to a stranger and ending up with nowhere to stay. That is part of why guests book through the platform at all.
Payouts
You choose the payout schedule yourself: weekly, twice a month or monthly. The money goes to the bank details you entered in the landlord data — what exactly is required there is described in Which documents you need to list a property.
If a booking falls through
The commission applies only to bookings that took place. A request you did not confirm and a booking cancelled before arrival carry no commission. What happens to the deposit when the property cancels is covered in When the host cancels a booking.
How to earn more
