How to list a hotel, guest house or resort

A property with rooms is added in two stages: first the property itself — address, photos, amenities and rules — then the rooms or beds with their prices. Moderation usually takes about an hour and listing is free.

What to prepare

• the property name and star rating, if it has one;
• the address: region, city, street and building, plus a point on the map;
• at least 5 photos of the property and 5 more for every room;
• amenities, meals, parking and house rules;
• details for the cooperation form: full name, TIN and address for individuals, company details for legal entities.

Step 1. Create the property

Sign in, switch to host mode and open «My properties». Tap «+», choose the category — hotel, guest house, resort or recreation area — and enter the name and star rating.

Step 2. Address and photos

Enter the region, city, street and building, then place the map point manually. Upload at least 5 photos: the facade, the grounds, the common areas.

Step 3. Description and amenities

Describe what makes the property different from its neighbours. Tick the amenities by category — general, leisure, family. Add meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner: included or paid, and at what price) and parking.

Step 4. House and booking rules

Set check-in and check-out times and your policy on smoking, parties, pets and children. Then the booking rules: minimum stay, manual confirmation or instant booking, the deposit share (from 10 to 100%) and cancellation terms.

Manual confirmation gives you control, but remember: you have 6 hours to answer a request, otherwise it expires. Instant booking suits properties whose availability is always up to date in the calendar.

Step 5. Cooperation form and publishing

Choose the format — «Standard» or «Business» — fill in the details and publish. The property goes to moderation, usually about an hour.

Step 6. Add the rooms

Open the property in «My properties» and tap «+» next to the accommodation options. For each room set the name («Standard», «Suite»), the category (single, twin, double, triple, family), the number of guests and beds, the area, a description and the amenities. Upload at least 5 photos of that exact room — generic property photos do not work here. Set the rate and the nightly price, then publish.

The internal room name is visible only to you — handy for marking buildings and floors.

What it costs

Listing and publishing are free. Meiman charges a commission only on completed bookings: the «Standard» plan is 10%, «Business» is 15% — a manager explains the difference when you join.
