Meiman lists 175 hotels across the country — from business hotels in Bishkek to resort properties at Issyk-Kul and the base hotels in Karakol used by trekkers and skiers. Prices and terms sit side by side, and you book directly, with no agency in between.
Properties of every category, from three-star with a basic service to five-star in the capital. The catalogue holds both international chains and local hotels — the latter usually give better value in the regions. Most of the supply is in Bishkek, 77 properties; Issyk-Kul has 36, Osh and Karakol 20 each.
Bishkek — business trips and the start of a route across the country. Osh — the southern capital and the base for the Pamir Highway and Uzbekistan. Issyk-Kul — the resort region: beach hotels, pools and meal plans, taken well in advance in summer. Karakol — hotels near the ski base and the trailheads. Jalal-Abad — small hotels for business trips and transit into the Fergana Valley.
Hotels are thin on the ground outside the cities, and other formats fill the gap: guest houses with home-cooked food, sanatoriums at Issyk-Kul with meals and treatments, apartments with a kitchen of your own. If you are heading to the mountains or the lake, compare these against a hotel on price.
QR is the most common payment method in Kyrgyzstan; cards are accepted too. Some hotels confirm a booking right away, others confirm once the front desk has checked the dates. Once it is confirmed, you pay a deposit: Meiman holds it until you check in and only then passes it to the property; the rest is paid on arrival. Check-in time, airport transfer, parking and extras are arranged in the chat right after booking.
