An aparthotel sits between an apartment and a hotel: your own kitchen, a washing machine and flexible check-in, plus hotel service — a front desk, regular housekeeping, sometimes breakfast. The category is small and mostly limited to Bishkek; if nothing fits, look at apartments or hotels.
Unlike a short-term apartment, it is centrally managed: check-in at a front desk or a key box, housekeeping once or twice a week, linen and towels on a schedule, no separate arrangements with an owner. Unlike a hotel, it gives you a full kitchen, a washing machine, more space and separate areas for working and sleeping.
Business trips of a week or longer. Families with children — a kitchen, separate rooms, laundry. Travellers combining a trip with work: internet, a desk and quiet. Groups — a two- or three-room apartment costs less than two hotel rooms. In Bishkek aparthotels are usually in the centre or in the newer residential complexes along Chuy and Manas avenues.
QR is the most common payment method in Kyrgyzstan; cards are accepted too. Some properties confirm a booking right away, others confirm once the front desk has checked the dates. Once it is confirmed, you pay a deposit: Meiman holds it until you check in and only then passes it to the property; the rest is paid on arrival. Check-in time, parking and early or late departure are agreed in the chat right after booking.
