Apartments in other cities

An apartment is the usual choice for a stay in Bishkek: for the price of a hotel room you get a kitchen, a washing machine and separate rooms, and check-in is often possible the same day. Meiman lists everything from studios to four-room apartments, in the centre and in the residential districts.
The centre around Chuy Avenue, Erkindik and Sovetskaya is the business core — ministries, offices, Osh Bazaar and the Philharmonic are within walking distance. Vostok-5, Jal, Asanbay and Tunguch are cheaper and work well for longer stays, especially with a car. In summer many travellers stop in Bishkek for a night on the way to Issyk-Kul or from Manas airport.
Business travellers on weekdays, families and groups on weekends, and anyone staying for weeks rather than nights: a two- or three-room apartment is almost always cheaper than two rooms in a hotel, and a kitchen matters on a long trip.
You book directly with the host, with no agency fees. Some apartments are confirmed straight away, others once the host has checked the dates. Meiman holds your prepayment until you check in and passes it to the host only afterwards; the rest you pay on arrival. You can pay by card or by QR.
