Cottages and houses in Bishkek

In Bishkek people rent a whole house for an occasion rather than for nature: a birthday, a company party, relatives arriving from the regions, a weekend with a large group. Hence the checklist — a yard, a barbecue, parking for several cars, sometimes a sauna or a pool. Every house in this listing is inside the city.

What to look at

How many beds there are, not rooms — for a party these are different numbers. Whether loud music is allowed and until what hour: some houses have limits because of neighbours. Check the barbecue and the gazebo, whether the sauna or pool runs in winter, how many cars fit in the yard, whether a deposit is required and whether cleaning after the event is charged separately.

When to book

Weekends and the May and New Year holidays go two to three weeks ahead, especially houses with a sauna. Summer adds the wedding and anniversary season; in winter the main question is how the house is heated and what that adds to the nightly cost.

If you want to be out of town

Outside the city the choice is wider: houses in the Chuy region are in the general cottage listing, and for the lake see cottages at Issyk-Kul, where most of the country's supply is concentrated.

Booking and payment

You book directly with the host, with no agency fees. Some houses are confirmed straight away, others once the host has checked the dates. Meiman holds your prepayment until you check in and passes it to the host only afterwards; the rest you pay on arrival. You can pay by card or by QR.
