Apartments in other cities
Other stays in Osh
Read in the Journal
Osh is the southern capital and the country's second entry point: flights land here directly, and the roads to Uzbekistan via Dostuk and to the Pamir Highway start from the city. A daily-rate apartment costs less than a hotel of the same standard and works better over several days: your own kitchen, a washing machine and separate rooms.
The centre around Lenin and Kurmanjan Datka streets is closest to Sulaiman-Too, the museums and most offices. The area by the Osh bazaar suits anyone here on trading business — the market opens early. Closer to the airport and the Bishkek highway people take a flat for an early departure or a transit night.
Business and medical travellers, families from the region who need a kitchen and space for children, and anyone heading out onto the Pamir Highway — shops thin out quickly after Osh, and the last proper kitchen is worth using. For a group a two- or three-room apartment is almost always cheaper than two rooms in a hotel.
You book directly with the host, with no agency fees. Some apartments are confirmed straight away, others once the host has checked the dates. Meiman holds your prepayment until you check in and passes it to the host only afterwards; the rest you pay on arrival. You can pay by card or by QR.
