Other stays in Bishkek

In Bishkek a «hotel» can mean a business hotel downtown or a ten-room place in a residential block. Meiman lists both, with a nightly price and confirmation from the host — no phone calls and no transfers to a stranger's card.
The centre around Chuy Avenue, Erkindik and Ala-Too Square works for business trips and first visits: ministries, the Philharmonic, Osh Bazaar and most offices are within walking distance. Further south and in the residential districts the same room costs less, but you will need a taxi. A separate case is the hotels along the Manas airport road, taken for early departures and night layovers.
Most Bishkek bookings are short: a work trip, a layover on the way to Issyk-Kul or the mountains, a medical or paperwork visit. If your flight leaves early, ask the host about a transfer and an early breakfast; if you arrive at night, check how late the reception is staffed.
A hotel wins when you need housekeeping, breakfast and an invoice. An apartment is usually cheaper from the third night and better for a family: kitchen, washing machine, separate rooms. For a group a two- or three-room apartment almost always beats two hotel rooms on price.
You book directly, with no agency fees. Some hotels are confirmed straight away, others once the host has checked the dates. Meiman holds your prepayment until you check in and passes it to the host only afterwards; the rest you pay on arrival. You can pay by card or by QR.
